Moe often talked of how his family didn’t support him playing golf.  Especially his father.  Moe tells a story of how he wasn’t allowed to bring his clubs into the house and that his dad hit them under the porch.

Moe’s family has tells a different side of the story.  Moe’s mother actually kept the news clippings of her son Moe.

When I attended Moe’s funeral Moe’s niece Sandy DeCorso said “at one point in Moe’s life he felt that it was time for him to leave the family, but the family never left him”.

Somewhere in the Archives is a picture of Moe playing in a tournament.  It is said that Moe’s mother was in the gallery. Moe never knew.
