This picture was taken in July 2004. Moe’s health was failing. It had been a few years since Moe had traveled from his hometown Kitchener to Titusville, Florida. Periodically, I would often travel to see Moe on his July 10 birthday. I knew that this might be one of the last times I would see him.
We met Moe and his good friend Nick “the Wedge” Weslock at the course. We expected to play 9 holes and have lunch. After nine holes we stopped to have a sandwich. Moe had a hotdog loaded with ketchup. As we finished lunch Moe wanted to play more and we played the back nine, it would be the last time I would see Moe alive.
