A Mother's Memory

It is said that "Golf" originated on the links of Scotland.

Inside these pages is a collection of links in the truest Canadian fashion.

This collection was dilligently gathered by Mrs. Mary Norman, in order to keep some sort of "link" with her middle born son, one Murray Norman, born July 10, 1929 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.

On the passing of Mrs. Mary Norman some years ago, these "Links" from the past were handed to Moe's twin sister Marie. This collection is considered a family treasure, being the only "Link" that brothers Ron, Richard, and sisters Marie, Doreen and Shirley have with brother Moe.

It is for certain that Mrs. Norman would have been extremely proud of her middle son's entry into the "Canadian Golf Hall of Fame" which is an awesome achievement by any son in his chosen sport.

In private, Mary Norman's "Hall of Famer" was intelligent, interesting genuine with a whimsical sense of humor, and she would be delighted to know that Moe achieved everything he set out to do as a young man many years ago.

All of Moe's brothers and sisters hope for the day that the "Links" will be complete and so would the wishes of one Mrs. Mary Norman, a Hall of Fame Mother.
